Does this soundbar shut off automatically when not being used for a period of time? Or does it turn on automatically when you turn on the TV?

We leave ours on all the time, so when we turn the tv on the sound is on. We’ve been gone for weeks and it is still active when we return. We can use the remote to turn it off.
